Bailey Kennedy

Bailey Kennedy writes fiction under the pseudonym B.E. Kennedy. She is a Canadian author and the creative mind behind Bailey Kennedy Books, writing literary and historical fiction that explores identity, memory, and generational connection. Drawn to stories of mystery, identity, and belonging, Kennedy’s work centres women navigating the aftermath of buried histories—often discovering that the past is far closer than it appears.​

 

With a professional background as Chief Operating Officer of By The North, a digital publication dedicated to promoting Canadian writers, creators, and businesses, Bailey brings a strong editorial and cultural perspective to her work.

Her debut novel, County Kildare, a historical fiction novel told across dual timelines, was longlisted for the Chanticleer Somerset Award for Literary Fiction. Bailey’s writing is known for its emotionally rich storytelling, complex female characters, and carefully researched settings.

On her author blog, Bailey shares insights on writing, publishing, historical research, and the creative process, offering readers a deeper look into her work and upcoming books.
